In connection with Brånemark Integration Symposium, June 2^nd, Brånemark Integration launched the new product concepts; BioHelix Full Thread^TM and SlimLine^TM. BioHelix Full Thread^TM is a new fixture within the successful BioHelixTM concept, with a thread design that results in reduced risk of bone resorption. SlimLine^TM is an abutment concept, designed to cause less damage to the mucosa.

Brånemark Integration to take over distribution in Sweden

From September 2009, Brånemark Integration will be responsible for the sales and distribution of our implant assortment in Sweden. The decision was based on a through customer evaluation, and is intended to provide a closer relationship between dentists and the competence within the company.

Through this we will be able to provide a higher level of customer service, education and product support. Danish customers can be serviced through the Swedish office, and Norwegian customers will still be serviced by Unident's Norwegian sales staff. Brånemark Integration AB has all the possibilities and knowledge to provide customized solutions. As an example we can mention a patient, that due to a tumour had to have his nose removed. In addition, the bone quality in the patients mid-face was quite poor, due to the exposure of high doses of radiation for his treatment. The responsible physician approached us in order to establish if we could assist him in providing him with special designed implants including customized prosthetic parts.

The surgery was performed in September 2007 and during early spring 2008 the patient was able to be restored with a new nose.
